Where is 10 star. Oh my god !!! What incredible taste, quality, service I’m spellbound. This weekend we were on a trip to New York City from Canada and had a hotel booked nearby. While we were going for check in , I had spotted this place and told my husband we will visit here once. That night while coming back from manhattan we ordered a usual chicken biriyani and sheekh kabab with naan. And what happened next blew our minds, we have had food in multiple bangladeshi restaurants before staying in Toronto and Edmonton but this kind of taste and homely behavior of the owners is to be appreciated. The food is really good. Most ingredients are home made and the staff follows traditional cooking techniques. Most items are freshly made and peopel have been coming over again and again here. Also, the good is halal and the prizes are really affordable.

I was visiting from Canada and stopped by Dhakaya Restaurant — what a great experience! The biryani was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Sharif, who was both the chef and at the counter, provided excellent service and made sure everything was perfect. I also had their tea, which was spot on! Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and friendly service!

Damn! banchode, who told you you could make food this good? I’ve never had sesame chicken with bell peppers before—who knew it would taste that amazing? And the lentil peas with curry… oh my god. The flavor instantly pulled me back to my childhood summers in Trinidad and Tobago. It was like a memory served on a plate. My family always tries to downplay our Indian roots, but eating this food makes me feel connected in a way I can’t deny. The spices, the comfort, the balance—it’s more than just a meal, it’s a reminder of who I am.

Absolutely Incredible Experience at Dhakaya! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality from the owner was beyond amazing. He made us feel truly welcomed like family. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of authentic flavors that brought back memories of home. As a special surprise, the owner generously offered us free sweet and shrimp bharta, which were both mouthwatering and unforgettable! I've traveled across many states in America, and I can honestly say this is the best Bangladeshi food I’ve ever had in the entire country. Highly recommend Dhakaya to everyone — whether you’re craving real desi flavors or just looking for incredible food and service. We’ll definitely be visiting again whenever we’re in New York!
