D'Fontana Pizzeria & Ristorante

Had a work lunch meeting in this lovely little town. Very cute and cozy Italian style dining room with great service. They had a lunch menu and lots of traditional Italian dishes. For lunch I just got the Italian sub which was very good. My buddy got the chicken parm sub and loved it. Good value, great people, nice subs. Recommend.

Daughter had cheese ravioli which was delicious. We got an xl new york style pizza. Great flavor, fresh ingredients. The center of the pizza was a little soggy though. Which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Service was 5 stars. Super cute little restaurant with lots of different Italian dishes. Will go back when we are in the area.

Ordered delivery. The Carbonara came and it was nothing more than dry spaghetti noodles and some seasoning sprinkled on top. There was a scant amount of sauce. When I called to inform them, I was told to “add some heavy cream and reheat it”. WOW! This was my first experience with D’Fontanas and my last. If they are not even willing to make it right, then I’m not willing to spend my money there.

A wonderful little Italian café! The pizza and pasta are absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience warm and enjoyable. I truly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food!

I just moved here from Atlanta and I love this area in Green Cove Springs where this restaurant is. First I wanna say that the service was exceptional the french fries perfection. My wife loved her soup. The pizza was not bad. The crust was crispy, but the toppings not great. I understand when you buy a slice of pizza and add toppings and you have to typically get extra cheese for it to be like a normal pizza slice. I would suggest that of your ordering only a slice. I definitely wanna go back and try a full size pizza as I imagine it will be delicious. The only complaint I had was that the sauces were a dollar additional on top of what we were paying so if you order ranch, it’s a dollar if you order a garlic butter it’s two dollars Additional.
