Great lunch options! Hot bar had steak, chicken, and fish options. Salad bar is very good with hummus! Blackberries, strawberries, blueberries for fresh fruit. Price is around $7.20 as of Jun 2025 which cannot be beat! Better currently than the Ft Eustis DEFAC for comparison.

The food lacks flavor, and there are limited protein options available. If you're looking for more protein, you need to rescan your CAC. Additionally, the portion sizes are quite small, giving the impression that they are trying to conserve food for future use.

One of the slop scoopers that works here always tries to interrogate me about if I've eaten or not whenever I go to get food. Trust me Laqueefa, if I wasn't starving and broke I wouldn't be here, period

Has to been the slowest and worst out of all my DFAC experiences. The food is awful. The daily menu is wrong most of the time. The staff have no idea what urgency is. They have soldiers out the door on one side while the other side has food in it and is closed? I got spoiled milk on the day. The MGR, Tim was like, “oh no”. Drink machines are always down. The portions are very small, only get one sausage patty for breakfast. Amazing at the very end of each meal the staff’s plates are overloaded with left overs. Interesting..... The place is very clean and well kept. There a handful of very good staff like Leslie. He’s a hard worker. Place just needs a little more care

Good morning! I was only allowed to two pieces of chicken and only 1 type of protein. How am I suppose to maintain muscle mass with minimal amounts of protein? Slightly rude, but the salad bar was delicious. Too bad I’m not vegan 😉. But jokes aside.. we want strong soldiers so feed them appropriately.
