Dewey's Café At The Library

I love coming to Dewey's Cafe! I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the hospitality of the manager and staff. I go to the Main Library almost weekly to work on doctoral studies and to engage in the genealogical department. The staff are very helpful! In addition, I was impressed with the manager of Dewey's Cafe as I watched her kindly navigate a situation that was sudden. - Dr. Techika Rhodes

Food is wonderful! Service is even better! The manager is super friendly and the staff is very nice. I will definitely come again, especially to get some work done. The only reason why I am not giving atmosphere a 5/5 is because the lighting is a little harsh. I think some ambient lighting would make it feel a little cozier.

Small selection but good, with friendly, experienced staff. The muffins are huge, fresh, and usually good, but some days are not so great. The coffee is very good for the selection options, and they often have unique specials. The food is pretty great, and they have some quick-bite snack options (yogurt, string cheese, baby bels, etc) in the cooler that are great for breaking up hangry pangs during a study session without having to stop for an actual meal. We all really love that Dewey's is there when we need it ♥️
