Detroit Brew-ti-ful Coffee House

I was in Detroit for a few days and I’m a coffee lover, so I researched a few coffee shops I wanted to try that were also Black owned. I decided to stop here and ordered the caramel toffee latte. It was amazing! I really loved that flavor combination. The coffee house was super clean and felt like a comfortable space for one person or a small group. They had a chess table set up and ready for anyone who wanted to play, which I thought was a really nice touch. The bathroom was cute and well kept as well. The only thing I noticed was I didn’t feel the same energy from the employees that I’ve seen in their social media posts, but overall my visit was a winner. I will definitely come back when I’m in town. ☕

I have been hearing awesome things about the cafe so I was excited to stop by for my Carmel Latte this morning! ♥️ The customer service was unmatched! Soon as I walked in the door the ladies greeted me and when I said it’s my first time I was given a keychain immediately! The cafe is clean, inviting and quiet. It’s a perfect place for a quick chat over coffee, a business meeting or working from home! And I went back in the afternoon on my way home to get a watermelon apple slush! It was delicious too! I will definitely be stopping in more often!

Upon entering, I was pleasantly greeted by staff. The establishment was filled with patrons reading, sipping/eating, and enjoying tik-tok videos 😜. Largest coffee & tea choices that ive ever seen! 😋 Since finding this gem, ive been numerous times. Give 'em a try, won't be disappointed!

My favorite Coffee Shop at this rate. Can't wait for it to open on McNichols/6 Mile. We need one on every major intersection in the city. Hahaha.

Great coffee and huge range of special drinks and wonderful homemade soups, pastries, cakes, and breakfast/lunch foods, and the stuff is homemade there! The staff was SO friendly and helpful; they really struck up a conversation with me and made me feel so welcome. I'm thrilled to hear they are opening a second location thanks to their great service, great products, and great staff. I love that this is a 100% Detroit coffee shop -- and that it's owned by Black women and staffed with locals-- we need as much of that energy as we can get!
