DESI STREET - Flavors of India

Walked through the door into a beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean restaurant with a health code rating of 100. We placed our order at the counter and took a seat at very pleasant table. Shortly there after delicious food started arriving at our table. Tasty Samoas, the most delicious Lamb Saag l have ever had. Wonderful Lamb Korma, and the Naan was so very fresh tasty and hot and plentiful. We finished with a perfect Mango Lassi for the road. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Dezi Street is not to be missed when in Cumming Georgia.

Made a togo order from this place for the first time with friend suggestion. We ordered Chicken Majestic, Chicken 555, and Gobi Pepper Salt — all the dishes tasted really good and were flavorful. The staff gave nice suggestions, which helped us choose the best items. Overall, a great experience.

⭐⭐⭐Wow really good, HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐⭐⭐ We got the chilli chicken and butter naan. It came out really fast with good quantity and the owner was so nice. I'm really picky when it comes to food especially South Asian as I have high expectations but this definitely met my expectation (if you don't believe me look at my other reviews). All their meat is halal too!!!! Also, not sure what a previous review mentioned about their health safety rating, they have their rating posted on a bulletin board and received 100 on health standards. Highly highly recommend this Indian restaurant in the cumming area and the restaurant looks great too.

Desi Street has a really fun street-style café vibe that immediately sets the tone. We tried the onion chili uttapam, chaat platter, and pav bhaji—everything was fresh, served hot, and very tasty. The uttapam was especially good and clearly made to order. The pav bhaji was enjoyable but could use a bit more masala and garlic for extra punch. Overall, a great spot, and I’d definitely come back—especially for their South Indian dishes.

I order a Manchow soup, Veg Manchurian & Fried rice. The soup was supposed to be medium spicy, but felt extremely spicy (Thai chilly spicy). Keep that in mind. Since it was freezing, I tolerated it! Fried rice was perfect & the manchu, although a bit oily, tasted delicious. These items are surely tasty of you decide to order them!!
