Desi District - Sugar Land

Amazing meal at Desi District! I started with the Chicken 65 as an appetizer — flavorful, perfectly spiced, and the serving size was huge. For my entrée, I had the mutton biryani, and it was equally generous with rich, savory flavor that really hit the spot. The mango lassi and the masala chai tea were both delicious and refreshing — great complements to the meal. Portions were very satisfying, and everything tasted fresh and bold. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu. Highly recommend!

Always fantastically cooked food. Have had the extra juicy chicken Mandi, Gongura Chicken biryani, pani puri, samosa and chikoo milkshake. The extra spicy level of Gongura Chicken biryani was fantastic. The chikoo milkshake is made in house and is so fresh! The atmosphere inside is gentle with warm lightning. Music is comforting and adds to the fabulous flavour and vibe of Desi District Sugarland location!

If you love bold, flavorful, and spicy food, Desi District in Sugar Land is an absolute must-try! Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic desi flavors and just the right kick of heat. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere felt vibrant. Their spicy appetizers are amazing, and the main courses are even better with rich, aromatic, and full of depth. Easily one of our new favorite spots in Sugar Land for real desi comfort food. Highly recommend for spice lovers!

A place to must go for delicious food. We found the real taste after years in Houston. Must try live pani puri and their schezwan veg fried rice, chicken chilli, chicken 65. Definitely coming back for amazing service from Ponnu and owner himself. Thank you chef Hammad. You deserve the best chef award in town. Highly recommend!

We tried this place for Lunch earlier today. This place has to be the most mismanaged restaurant in the Sugar Land area. There was 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. She was also handling the take out orders as well. We waited for more than 35 minutes for our food. The dosa my wife ordered was not even hot when they brought it out to the table. The only good thing was the roti and the butter chicken we ordered. I really want to know who owns this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
