Ordered a paneer tikka kati roll for takeout but was given chicken tikka instead. Unfortunately, I realized this only after reaching home and was about to eat it. I called the restaurant, and they acknowledged that it was their mistake. I requested a refund, which they said they would process — but it was not done. I had to go back to the restaurant the same evening to follow up, and only then was the refund processed. For a restaurant of this size, these kinds of tactics to avoid refunding a few dollars for an error that was clearly not the customer’s fault are disappointing. Additionally, they refused to provide an extra cup for tea, stating they strictly count plastic cups. I ordered a cake from Desi District and had a wonderful experience. The cake was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. Everyone loved the taste and presentation. The staff was polite and professional, and the order was ready on time. I will definitely be ordering again for future occasions. Highly recommend Desi District for cakes! 🎂

This has been our regular hangout spot for the past one and a half years, and we've always enjoyed the food and service. However, for the first time, I’m genuinely disappointed — we ordered Vijayawada Biryani and Paneer Biryani, and both boxes were not properly filled. It felt like they were trying to cover the lack of quantity by topping it with onions. When we raised the issue, we were told that the box sizes had changed. A member of the other management team even came over, tried to adjust the biryani with a spoon, and insisted it was fully packed and saying this is Indian style — which honestly made the situation worse and felt quite unhygienic. Amazing Weekend Specials at Desi District Little Elm! I visited Desi District in Little Elm today and had an excellent experience. I tried their weekend specials — Pachi Mirchi Kodi Vepudu, Chicken Joint Biryani, and Pepper Chana — and the taste was absolutely amazing! The flavors were authentic and delicious, and each dish stood out in its own way. I was surprised to hear that these items are only available on weekends — they’re so good, they definitely deserve a spot on the daily menu! The service was also top-notch. The staff were genuinely polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend Dishes by on the weekend to try these specials — you won’t be disappointed!

Never ever ever buy from Little Elm off 423 store or if they have other locations. I ordered chole batura via DoorDash medium level and it was so spicy that I couldn't even eat 2 bites of it. Spoke with Krisha and he has the audacity to tell me that they put the spice level on the app and that is there medium. No wonder people around here are complaining to see so many South Indian restaurants opening. Not everyone here is South Indian and eats their level of spices. My stomach is hurting and cramping after eating just 2 bites and I have been feeling nauseous. If you love your health then don't eat there.
