Very nice place. Great for a date or get together. We’ve done both many times. Had dinner with another couple last night. The kind of restaurant you ca actually hear each other speak in. Not noisy and great acoustics. So much better that the new places that come and go. Food is wonderful. The sweet and sour or lemon. Chicken are both made with whole chicken breast that is sliced before being plated. Service is awesome with tea and water that actually gets refilled when you want it. Local family owned. We’ve been going for likely 30 years now. Our college son love it too.

Desert Jade Restaurant is such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting — perfect for a relaxed dinner with family or friends. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. The portions were generous, and every dish came out hot and perfectly seasoned. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the team made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. If you’re looking for amazing food, friendly service, and a comfortable dining experience, Desert Jade is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back!

Got takeout one night for dinner and ordered beef and broccoli, chicken lo mein, fried rice and some chow mein. Everything was overcooked to the point it looked like horse feed, probably didn't taste much better either. 2 stars is only for the quantity of the fried rice. Service was about as good as the food. If you want Chinese food - look elsewhere.

I drive 3 hrs. to bring my dad to his follow-ups, and Dr. appt. and always look forward to lunch time. Desert Jade has been our go-to restaurant because of their great food dishes.

This place used to be ok. The last few months the food has been very bland and the customer service has been horrible. They will treat you like crap so until that gets better just avoid this place. I called in and the old gentleman was very short and quick. At pick up he made a statement that I had not paid for the food yet .... Well yeah I knew this already but he made it seem like I was trying to just walk away with the food. Horrible experience all around. Wish I could give the service a zero!
