Desert Grill

This was a nice break from a long day drive through the mountains. The entrance is nice and well kept with knickknacks and souvenirs. We were greeted promptly and sat at a well lit table in a clean dining room. The menu is mostly BBQ and smoked meats which was expected as the entire restaurant smelled of the smoker out front where they were smoking ribs. I ordered the King Brisket sandwich and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of food, lots of flavor and the meat has an excellent smoke ring. It paired well with their baked beans. Prices are pretty good too. The server checked in a couple times and we were well taken care of. Overall, a great stop.

They were able to hook me up with gluten free French toast, so I was pretty jazzed. My husband had the kielbasa skillet and said it was very buttery, so prepare for heavy meal. Other items were tasty, nothing too remarkable. Service was prompt and friendly. Great little diner.

I really enjoyed the king brisket sandwich, and the Cubano with the baked beans and mashed potatoes. Vivi and Gigi are great servers and conversational.

Desert Grill in Panguitch serves up hearty burgers that hit the spot, especially if you’re in the mood for a classic, no-frills meal. While the coleslaw wasn’t quite to my taste, the burgers and fries themselves, were decent. The coleslaw was cabbage and plain mayo. No seasoning or flavor. The friendly, attentive service made the experience enjoyable, and the relaxed small-town atmosphere added to the charm. A good stop for a casual bite in Panguitch.

Love the food! Coleslaw, barbeque beans, soup, ribs, garlic bread are Perfect country style. Love it love it.
