Sandy is amazing! The food was good. We had her give us a bit less day #2 because it was a lot. She was so accommodating to our request on less breakfast. The beds were comfy. The place was VERY clean ! Beautiful country. Can't say enough good about this B&B❤️❤️❤️ You will not be disappointed..

The best part of Galena is Sandy's breakfast. It's delicious. The house is very cozy. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The place is very clean. Our second visit. And definitely not the last. Amazing stay.

We loved our weekend at Sandy's house. My favorite part was the BED-15/10 stars! We could tell being a host is something she enjoys; she thought of everything, from providing kindling wood for the fireplace to asking us about food aversions for breakfast...speaking of breakfast, outstanding! Raisin scones, eggs benedict, fresh fruit, great, strong coffee according to my husband. It is such a quiet place to stay and if you're a runner, lots of hills and beautiful landscapes to explore. We recommend staying around Elizabeth as there are some cute (dive-y) restaurants and bars. 20 minutes to Galena from her house. Finally, we needed a little flexibility as it was supposed to snow heavily and my husband's job includes snow removal. We didn't end up needing to change our plans, but Sandy was wi

What a delightful place to stay! Derinda House is in peaceful wooded setting, with a large deck for eating and relaxing. We were tickled to see wild turkeys, hens with their young, out our bedroom window each morning. The house is roomy, nicely furnished and beautifully appointed. Sandy is a gourmet cook and we enjoyed her breakfasts each morning, as well as a salmon dinner on our last night there. Thank you, Sandy!

We just spent the last weekend at the Derinda House and could not have had a better stay. Sandy is a great host and wonderful cook..We will be back. A great alternative to staying in busy Galina.
