I won't lie, I've underestimated this place for years. But having just stopped in, the service was friendly, and the breakfast food was excellent. The plant-based nine-grain pancakes were a great surprise and the food cup side was a great addition. The atmosphere is somewhat dated but certainly clean and well kept.

The 55+ meal was a great deal $7.89 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, 2 strips bacon, 2 pork sausage links and 2 buttermilk pancakes. OJ was $3.99. No meal tax in Fairfax City! Total was $15.42 with 20% tip. I loved the historical photos! Ava the manager helped me connect to WIFI. Indira was my server and has worked here for over 20 years! She let me pick whatever table I wanted. I highly reccommend Fairfax City Denny's!

I enjoy this Dennys. The staff members are always attentive and create a welcoming environment. They serve classic simple meals and they do it consistently well. I don't visit often but I am always satisfied when i do.

The food was delicious — I had the strawberry crepes, eggs with hash browns, and French toast — and everything was well-prepared and plated with care. Special shoutout to the hash browns — perfectly crisped on the outside, soft inside, and easily the best I’ve had in a while. The strawberry crepes were fresh and creamy, and the French toast was buttery, golden, and just the right amount of sweet. The ambience is cozy and laid-back, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service was fair overall — friendly and efficient, though there’s always a bit of room for something but otherwise good.

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at this Denny's location for the first time. The portions were generous and immensely satisfying. I found the crepes to be delightful, although I did notice that the breakfast sandwich was a bit saltier than I anticipated, likely due to the ham. The other breakfast option featuring ham also had a similar saltiness. The service was quite decent, while the atmosphere was clean, it had a slightly dated feel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
