Demmer Memorial Library (Three Lakes public library)

I wish all libraries were like this one. Beautiful, bright, friendly, invested in their patrons... I could go on. Lots of fun things to check out - typewriters, projectors, puzzles, and of course books. My kiddo is furiously reading to get his hours for the summer reading challenge. Thank you to all the librarians who make this such a fabulous place!!! (I wish our home library in Texas was anywhere close to the quality as this one.)

Beautiful library. Great staff. Erica ordered books for me. April taught Craft Class and we all had fun making Valentine cards. It is always a fun place to stop and visit.

I did have a 5 start review from 5 years ago but changed it. Three lakes town board as well as the livrary board pay way too low. As a result loose good employees. The board will ruin this once good instution.

I went there twice, both times on different days and they were closed both days ( Friday and Monday). So, they're only open 3 days a week. I only needed my library card renewed. Why couldn't they have just done that over the phone when I called them? Or better yet, why can't they just have the renewal process online? Because they make you feel like you're not wanted in the building or better yet, a leper. There's a big sign in the front door saying to wear a mask, then when you walk in, there's Plexi glass everywhere and they stop you immediately at the front door, in addition to them wearing masks behind the Plexi glass. It's absolutely ridiculous and makes you feel completely and totally unwanted!!! Whoever runs that place has been watching too much CNN. I will not go there again.
