Demarest Free Public Library

Demarest Library is truly one of a kind. They host an incredible range of engaging programs for both adults and children and are always open to partnering with the community to create even more. In my personal experience, the library—especially Parinda, Jen, and Reilly—has gone above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming space that genuinely strives to represent all members of our community. There is truly no other library like it.

Great childrens department with wonderful programs & educational toys, including Lego table, doll house, cozy childrens reading nook, puzzles. I'd like to thank the entire staff for providing this fantastic space for us!

During the summer, my kids borrowed some books and returned them on time, but it seems the system didn't get updated properly. As a result, I received late notices, which was quite frustrating. I wish there was better communication about this, especially since the selection was quite limited.

People working here are not very nice. Too bad is this is the closest library to home.

I can't believe there are three 1-star reviews. This is a free public library. If you know how to behave in a public library, you will find NO problem. If you want to behave as you would in your own house, this is not the place. This is a wonderful place run by people who care. P. S. At a library, it is the librarian who decides if you are too loud, not you. Learn to appreciate the place and the opportunity it provides.
