Deleites de mi Tierra

Food used to be really delicious, but it's gone downhill. The chicharron in the bolones is now all fat and chewy. It used to not be this way. The encebollado is not as good as it used to be as well. It's unfortunate because I used to order almost weekly from here. The lady who answers the phone is really nice. But that doesn't help with the food tasting any better. Wish they would care more about the quality like they used to. I'll try again in a few months and report back if there's a change.

Food was just ok, but our experience was not that good. The service was actually kindda bad. The waitress didnt know the menu- she actually said so herself. And she kept getting her plates to the wrong tables (not only her thou,the rest of the waitressesdid the same too)- this wasn't only with us, it was with everyone else. We ordered la bandera, it comes with shrimps, and she brought ceviche. We asked another server about it and she said it was the shrimps the plate comes with. But then, the table besides us said "this isnt ceviche, is just shrimps" so we immediately knew that was ours. Seems like none of the waitresses know their plates nor remember to which table they go to. And the shrimps al ajillo were just thrown in a plate full of butter, like literally a LOT of butter- too much. T

Food is amazing and the portions in my opinion are great, I can’t even finish the whole plate. I had caldo de pollo. Love their natural blended juices too like mango in water yum.

It used to be very good, probably they changed the cooker but the Bolon was terrible. Besides when I was waiting for the food I saw a couple roaches over the counter.

Ordered food on door dash, ordered 1 humita (flavorless), encebollado de pescado (2 pieces of yuca, 1 piece of fish and everything else was water) , chaulafan (2/5 not the best) yapinchacho con carne asada (the steak had an after taste flavor, something like when the steak has been in the fridge for sooo long and it’s about to get bad, looks like they defrosted it 2 sec in the microwave and then put it in the pan for another 2 sec and it was ready) … spent about $90 on food that was nasty!
