Delano Branch Library

Librarians were super friendly and excited to reopen! Fresh paint, new books, cute new chairs, free wifi… Lovely. Hooray!

Not what it used to be. I took my kids to see Wild Man Dan on the 25th of July at 11:45 am- we were so excited and I cleared my schedule for that day to bring my kids there. I was also going to get them lunch- because the library’s schedule said they gave free lunch. But the window for free lunch was closed- I didnt see ANY updates on the Facebook. Horrible service too- why do they have 4 librarians behind the counter- and only ONE does ACTUAL work. Majority of them are behind that counter gossiping and talking. They need to update their posts on Facebook.

The employees are very nice and helpful. They put sometimes movies which is perfect because when I come it relaxes me

Staff is not very friendly. They do not have a drop outside to return DVD's or electronic materials, and they say they want you to return things inside but then when you return it at the front desk they look annoyed that you came in. It's a nice older library with a decent selection, but the staff's attitudes are the reason for this low rating. They dont have very good people skills and that is a huge part of working in a library.

Been there about two times to get some books for myself . Love the atom sphere, and the help from two of the workers expect one cThere is one worker there with glasses kind of chubby orangish hair super rude and stuck up . Talks to you all dumb like she’s more than you . Not helpful at all she was no help to me and was rude to some other people especially Mexicans .
