It’s a great restaurant, delicious food, nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We had lamb shank and Vaziri (chicken kabab and koobideh kabab) all tasted great. Will definitely come back

Cozy new Persian joint in the Mission with a KILLER koobideh. Delam hits all the marks when it comes to classic Persian cuisine, but does it with a twist — many of the dishes have unique touches that really make the food special to Delam. For example, the chicken joojeh kebab comes atop a bright and tangy mustard-yogurt sauce, while the kashke bademjoon has a smoky flavor that offers surprising depth for the traditional appetizer. These flavors absolutely add to the overall taste, and make them special to Delam — I don’t think I’ve ever had Persian food quite like the way they do it. And I loved it! The service was excellent, as it’s clearly a family-run business; you can feel the genuine care and sense of community at this place. I’d go back again just to chat with our friendly server

So happy to finally have a Persian restaurant nearby. Delam means “my heart” in Farsi, and it was fitting as you could taste the love in each bite. The food was truly stellar. We ordered: • Custom Sabzi platter (not on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate). The herbs were incredibly fresh. • Mast musir: 10/10. Rich, flavorful, and one of the best we’ve had. • Koobideh and joojeh: We asked for one skewer of each and they were very flexible. The joojeh was especially impressive, perfectly moist and flavorful, which is hard to achieve since it’s often dry elsewhere. • Saffron rice: Buttery, pillowy, and fragrant. Overall, we will definitely be back and are excited to return with a larger group to try more of the menu. Family owned spot with incredibly kind and welcoming owners.

By far the best barg kabob I’ve had anywhere in California—and honestly, it even beats most of the well-known Persian spots in LA. The meat is incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and grilled exactly right: juicy, flavorful, and never dry. You can tell they really know what they’re doing, from the quality of the ingredients to the attention to detail in every bite. The flavors are authentic and remind you of what true Persian kabob should taste like—simple, bold, and done with confidence. Portions are generous, the rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked, and everything on the plate feels intentional. If you’re serious about Persian food and especially barg kabob, this place is an absolute must. Once you eat here, it’s hard to go back anywhere else.
