Del Taco

Stopped by late at night to get a quick snack for the road. There was no wait in the drive thru. The guy taking our order was very nice and helpful. I got bean and cheese burritos with both kind of sauces and some french fries the bean and cheese burritos were so good. The beans were nice and creamy and both of the sauces made it taste like an enchilada. The fries were hot and fresh nice and crispy on the outside and soften the inside seasoned well with plenty of salt. We even got napkins in the bag and not 1 million hot sauces when we are driving through the drive-through we noticed through the window that they had a play yard for kids never seen that in Del Taco before pretty cool 10 out of 10 would recommend this location, especially if you had kids.

I don’t write reviews, ever. However if there is a place that deserves a review it’s this Del Taco. I’ve been about a dozen times and each time my expectations are exceeded. I have never been to a Del Taco that is so consistently amazing in every aspect. Every time I pass through Mesquite on I-15 I make it a necessary stop. The food is always hot, they don’t skimp on portions, the workers are always super nice, and it is unlike any Del Taco experience I’ve ever had. It honestly doesn’t even taste like fast food. I have developed such high standards for this location due to the consistent quality and each time I go they are met, if not exceeded. They have something going on and they are doing something right 😂

You guys are always the best. You must have great managers because everyone there has always been great to me and the food always the best, fresh and hot. I've been to other DTs and they don't compare to you guys. Whether it's Vanessa or whoever is responsible, you guys are my favorite. The Dell tacos are amazing and my favorite is the bean and cheese burritos with green sauce.

There was so much food on the table tops and seats of the booths, about 5 of them, and on the floor, that you couldn't sit down in them. The manager placed my order on the counter and walked off. He forgot my drink cup and I called out to him. He didn't hear me as him and the other employees were in back huddled together laughing and yelling. I had to reach over the counter to get a cup. These people need to get their act together.

The food is good, and in the end a more premium taco bell. The venue has a small play area, and seemed to be filled with patrons. We went before lunch rush, had no wait, but service took over 10 minutes for our order, which is slower than most fast premium businesses. Overall, if you choose the right menu options you'd end up with a decent meal at food price point. I felt there was some weird pricing, as the more you pay doesn't equate to a better meal or better quality ingredients. Expect to send 10-20 a person if you get the better items. For example, $8 dollar street tacos are the same size and taste the same as $1.79 carbon soft taco?? Spending your money wisely as ordering the ramen and street tacos was an underwhelming experience.
