Me and my wife have been coming to Del Friscos since 2015 and it continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Some people may think that the sale to Landrys has caused a drop in quality, but that could not be further from the truth. The steaks, appetizers, and seafood are consistently top notch, and every dish is prepared with great attention to flavor and presentation. A warm and toasty-hued environment filled with golds, rich woods and low lighting welcomed us Friday night. It was a packed restaurant full of cheer with various holiday parties and dinners throughout the establishment. We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary (and combined birthday celebration) with an upscale dinner out - only a once a year opportunity due to budget and a toddler at home who would not fare well without chicken nuggets and ketchup. Celebrated my 30th birthday here and we were very impressed. EVERY server/staff member we passed by greeted us with a friendly welcoming and farewell. The way they stopped to make eye contact with us is not something you see everyday!! The atmosphere on a Saturday night is busy with tables, however our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We admired how friendly the general manager is, making sure to stop at every table and welcome us. There was a table nearby with children and he took the time to interact with them. Incredible dining experience! I came in with a large group of people and our waiter treated everyone individually which really enhanced the evening. The food was outstanding and with massive portions for sides and appetizers. 10/10 would recommend for any and all special occasions!
