I visited Del Buono’s Bakery in Haddon Heights, NJ, and it is everything you want in a classic neighborhood bakery. From the moment you pull up, the cool, eye catching figures outside immediately grab your attention and make you want to stop in. It is such a unique and fun touch that sets the tone before you even walk through the door. Inside, the bakery always feels warm and inviting, and that is not just the atmosphere. The warmth comes from the fresh bread coming hot out of the oven, which you can literally pick up yourself right from the conveyor belt. So much has changed since I last been here 15 or 20 years ago, but for the better. Still have the freshest bread and rolls around. I used to come with room temperature butter in my car, then put it on the hot rolls as soon as I picked them. We made it a family thing when my kids was small. Definitely worth coming back, now I will wake up and start bringing my granddaughter to enjoy what I did for her mother. So glad this place is still around, lots of memories here.

I bought a cheesesteak stromboli and was very disappointed when I sliced it open. It's nothing but bread and little to no meat inside. I pretty much paid $11.45 for a loaf of bread.
