Deitsch Eck Restaurant

Older charming building with creaky wood floors. I was only in the Lehigh Valley area for a few days, and wanted to try Pennsylvania Dutch specialities. Definitely get the scrapple bites, and the Hot Apple Cider if it’s in season. Great food, Great people. Highly recommend.

We ordered take out just before the restaurant closed, and the food was amazing! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was priced well, and very fresh tasting. The unique menu has plenty to choose from, even for picky eaters! The restaurant is quaint and vintage. When you arrive, you will feel right at home, even if you are picking up dinner to-go! It may be helpful to verify business hours by calling the restaurant, as there were some online discrepancies about the operating hours. I would definitely recommend Deitsch Eck, and we hope to visit again the next time we are passing through.

Loved this little restaurant for what it is a comfy country hug from history. The decor is bright and cheerful and the food was hearty and good. Mmmm fritters.

After my belated annual birthday trip in Sept I didnt want to wait a whole year to visit this wonderful restaurant. I brought my brother n law who needed and appreciated the handicap ramp.. The restaurant is decorated with PA Dutch items as hex signs, paintings, tins etc.. It has a very comfortable and inviting feel to it. Our hostess , drink girl and waitress couldnt have been nicer and really make this unique experience even better. I had the Dutch Fries and a Reading Draft Root Beer to start.. This delicious appetizer set the tone for a fantastic main course. I got a combo meal with Scrapple and Fresh Sausage with pepper cabbage and chow chow as my sides. All 4 items were delicious..
