Defiance Public Library

My hometown library been going there and many more library for years but this is my forever favorite and first library go there with my momma when I can

This library doesn't even deserve a one-star review. Their children's department is terrible. You're hard-pressed to find anybody nice there. One of their book sales that I went to, a lady yelled at one of my special needs children. My daughter loves books and found a whole big bag full, she gave the lady all the money that she had in her wallet. The book sale lady yelled at her and told her that wasn't enough and I told the lady I would give more money. The book sales are a donation. Their children's department is one of the worst in the area. They also will turn away people with disabilities. My son's day program went there for a program and they turned them away. The library director calls people and parents that work with or have people in their family with disabilities "Handlers". The

The staff was more than helpful, and I am amazed at all the things you can check out with your library card. The discovery kits for children are out of this world.!

Met some family in the town and wanted something for our toddlers to do. Their kids section is amazing and all the workers were so kind. If we meet in Defiance again, we will absolutely come back to the library!

Growing up I loved going to this library. Its one of my favorite places to go in Defiance. If you like books, you can find a beautiful quit corner to read. History buff, or just want to go for a walk? Take a stroll around the grounds.
