Deerfield Inn Restaurant & Catering

Food was good. Service was slower than I would have liked. But, has a nice homey feeling & coffee was warm. Wouldnt have killed my waitress to smile a little lol

We were looking forward to try a local diner for breakfast, but left disappointed. The coffee, a staple of every diner, was terrible - we think a combination of cheap grounds, low strength, and unfiltered well water. Although the restaurant was not busy at all, it took quite a while to get our food. Bacon was not crispy and undercooked; same with the American potatoes. Otherwise, food was OK, but we will prefer to try other local diners in the future.

First, let me say that I am apalled at the way the owner of this business responds to bad reviews with the maturity of a third grader. Regardless, am still giving an honest review. This is a great place for breakfast and their pizza is good. We ate here on a Sunday morning and I ordered the build your own breakfast burrito with egg, cheese, sausage, onion and spinach. It was very good. The girls ordered farmers omelets and ate almost all of them. The service, however was not good. After waiting with an empty cup, I has to ask a different server for coffee and after waiting for a bill and no one coming around, I finally just went to the counter to pay.

I needed a large takeout order last minute due to a family emergency and they accommodated me very easily and made things very easy during a difficult time.

When I saw the massive menu I was a bit sceptical. The fries and tots we're amazing, golden and crispy. I like how my "the works" burger had cooked onion as well as fresh, it was a refreshing taste. The beef Patty was good but not right. It's like it had been cooked on a very hot grill, the inside was medium like I asked but the outside seemed charred and gritty. I will give them another shot and try chicken next time.
