Dean's Den Frost

I was there for my birthday on July 5 2025. We hit them pretty hard because we brought a group of 15 which we almost filled the restaurant. They are small place with great food and wonderful service! Our waitress did an excellent job handling our big group! The chef also did an amazing job getting our orders out together and everything was delicious! Thank you all for the wonderful experience and I will return when I am in the area! I also recommend others to stop in as well if near by!

Located at the intersection of 92 and 84 in chilly Frost, WV, Dean's Den is a gem that is easily missed. I rarely drive through that area and would have driven right past if I hadn't seen it on Google Maps. All of the reviews are spot on. My wife and I had a chef prepared meal that would rival most high end restaurants. We had the daily special which was a huge rack of ribs prepared to perfection, a delicious broccoli salad, barbequed beans, and a large hunk of cornbread... all homemade. The staff (all 3) were very helpful and personable. We had to get takeout boxes. I honestly ate ribs for three days. There wasn't a lot of indoor seating, but we luckily got a table. Dean’s Den is an amazing place to enjoy fresh and homemade food. We found Dean’s Den by a recommendation from a local in Snowshoe, WV. There is plenty on the menu to satisfy any appetite, even a gluten free option for pizza. We ordered the BBQ sandwich with sweet potato crinkle fries and crab cake sandwich with BBQ beans. Our food was hot and fresh to enjoy from the moment it hit the table!!! They have plenty of soda/pop/water .. etc to keep yourself hydrated while enjoying their delicious food. Fresh, Fast, and Friendly service is on the menu here at Dean’s Den. So, stop on by to enjoy the delicious food!

What a great little hidden gem. We came across Dean's Den by accident while driving in the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia. I had a great rib-eye sandwich, my wife enjoyed her Club Sandwich, the service was fast and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Dont pass this place by if you are on Hway 92. Its small but it is packed with great food options [cooked and groceries] and a darn fine beer selection. They also have some interesting dairy selections. We were up in WV for a week plus and the only thing I dont like are the lack of food options. Well, other than a pepperoni roll. We picked up [they are doing Covid restrictions] several times during our week there. Montecristo with baked beans was the special one day. Sandwich was enormous and tasty. It was fried yet very light. The beans were not your normal baked beans. I also had side of fries and although they looked like standard krinkle cuts they were crispy and had some sort of seasoning.
