Dead King Bread

Seriously amazing bread and sweets. Have to get there early to get anything. The sauce on the tomato pie haunts me! It’s more like a sourdough focaccia with a fantastic red sauce and not the usual Philly tomato pie.

Delicious bread and really great place with kind vibes. I only discovered it a few months ago but we’ve made it a tradition to stop by every Saturday since then. Brought a foodie friend with us the other weekend and his comment after trying the bread was “this is the kind of bread you build a meal around” which I think is one of the highest compliments you can give.

The breads and pastries are incredible. Better than anything you've ever tasted. There isn't really space to hang out. Just plan to get your amazing baked goods and head out. But definitely stop by for the tastiest goodies.

One of best. Not just great bread but also a testimony to how passionate people make spaces that are full of life. Celabrate these spaces, they are creations of our active engagement in them. They can not thrive if we do not cultivate them.

This is a fantastic local bakery that's only open 2 days per week. Their bread is incredible and their baked goods are phenomenal. It's located in Manayunk Timber.
