Dea Burek is a lovely spot, and it’s especially nice to have the option to sit outdoors in the warmer months. The burek is made fresh—straight out of the oven—and you can truly taste the difference. We had the meat slice and absolutely loved it. We also brought home some cheese burek, and it was a huge hit with the family. Easily one of the best bureks I’ve had in New York.

Best burek I have had in the US, and even better than some I have had in the Balkan countries. My family had cheese, spinach, and meat filled. They all had adequate fillings and were not greasy. Not burned, and cooked just right. The service was very good as well. Would love to get more if I lived closer, but it was a stop driving near the Bronx and well worth it. I thank the business for providing a quality product.

The burek is good overall but too much black pepper for my taste, I didn’t feel comfortable feeding my kid with it. I will definitely give it another try for different pies. It looks very clean and the staff was very friendly
