Amazing crab cakes! Found this place a year ago traveling through. Came back again for the homemade food and hospitality. Capt. George remembered me and I was welcomed back like an old friend. Enjoyed hanging out on the dock messing around with his cast net after a quick tutorial. Ample room for overnight RV parking W/easy in/out.

Amazing place to grab a cold one, chat with some friendly faces and eat some dang good fresh caught food! Highly recommend the crawfish and the crab cakes! Sammy and Cici are great at manning that bar and keeping the drinks coming!

A great personal swamp tour. You can tell the captain and his team care a lot about the environment and the ecosystem. Also the tavern food is amazing! The crab cake is delicious! They were great with our kids, even though we had to sit outside with the kids, the customer service was top-notch

You’ve got to stop by for the food and friends you’ll make at De Pope Tavern. Crawfish is delicious and you have to get the Boudin Balls with Miss Samantha’s special sauce. We could have stayed here all day talking with Capt George, Sam, CiCi and the locals. We had a major gap in time between our lodging checkout and flight departure and the crew at De Pope Tavern invited us to hang out there while we waited - so thoughtful! We will certainly be back for the crab cakes.

Down home bar feel with Great Southern Hospitality!!! We ordered a lot, And it was All fresh and ALL Delish Crab cakes, Gator balls, Mozzarella sticks, Crawfish Pie, Red beans n Rice with Sausage n Pickled Pork, Lima beans with Pickled pork and Spinach Artichoke Dip with Fresh Crab and Fresh French bread. From the Bar We also had a Fizzy Midori Sour, 2 Sexy on the beach, Long Island Iced Tea and a Sweet Tea. Party of four. We were also able to meet one of the mullet fisherman and got some fresh shrimp, I wanna go back to buy more fresh seafood from George. I was also gifted a Cucuzza, can't wait to cook it.
