This is the third time we've been to this De Lo Mio Street Food Truck and every single time we are not disappointed. The food is made to order fresh and always delicious. We will always continue to come back because the food is authentic Dominican food that reminds me of home and the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend if you are near by during dinner time or late night after a night out.
I've been looking for authentic Dominican cuisine in the Miami area with little success. The Dominican restaurants/clubs focused more on selling drinks, loud music, party crowds & mediocre food, at high prices! SURPRISE☆☆☆☆ DE LO MIO STREET FOOD is a food truck parked in an industrial center near Walmart in Miami Lakes. I found it thru Google. It's a little hard to find but worth the effort. Also they work 7p-12a 7 days a week. The menu is small but totally dynamite. Just order at the window, take a seat(plenty of tables), waiting time is 5-10 minutes as everything is made to order! I eaten decent Dominican "street food" in Queens, NY & in Santo Domingo,RD so I have an idea of what's authentic. SO, I ordered the Real Chimi☆☆☆(THIS IS THE KILLER, with the salad, sauce); Rebulu fries(load
Service: ordering was fast and every recommendation I was given was delicious. Food: this is probably the closest you’re going to get to authentic Dominican street food. I will try their juices when I come back! Atmosphere: the sweet sound of bachata kisses you the instant you walk up, it’s a food truck so you don’t necessarily need to eat there. Price: $10-15 per item. Portions are pretty fair for that price. Overall: 9.1/10
A great local Dominican food truck. The rebulu fries were super good, but the quesadilla was alright nothing special. Wait time was a little long for the food, but was worth it for the most part. Will be coming back for those rebulu fries.
