DC Charcoal Chicken

If you have not eaten here, then you are missing out! OMG SO GOOD! Hands down the best quesadilla (beef) I have ever had. My mom had the half chicken and fried plantains and she could not stop raving about how delicious it was. I also highly recommend the cheese and potatoes side dish. The sauces they give are phenomenal and elevate the already super flavorful dishes. I will most definitely be going back. I will have a hard time deciding to either get the same thing I ordered before or try the chicken or beef stews. I sampled both while there and the flavors of both were out of this world 🌎

In July, I visited this restaurant with my friends and was excited about the delicious food they had. Unfortunately, my food tasted strange. I requested an exchange because the lamb texture and taste were unusual, unlike what I had experienced at the restaurant. I usually order chicken or beef bowls, but the worker at the restaurant responded dismissively, saying, “That’s not my problem.” His attitude was incredibly rude and disrespectful, clearly indicating a lack of understanding of customer service. It was disappointing to be treated so poorly, and I decided not to return for a long time. Fast forward to today, and I had returned because I really wanted my chicken bowl. This is a really good place to eat if you like stuff like rice bowls with all the toppings, love their steak and shrimp bowls. Let's not forget the rotisserie chicken they sell. Delicious

My mom and I went here on opening day, and we both love the food. The chicken was flavorful, the sides were good, and the horchata was refreshing. Judging by the menu, it looks like they have some good choices. Suffolk needs more places like Charcoal Chicken where there’s a variety of options to choose from regarding food. We will come back.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing! The food...DELICIOUS! Plus, they are NOT stingy with the serving portions! The staff was friendly and very inviting. Will be back!
