The two women running the shop are exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about every customer and the quality of their donuts. The shop is spotlessly clean, and they move as fast as possible, even when the line gets long because of how popular this new location has become. Firstly the drive-thru is not convenient for more than three cars at a time. I was number 5 waiting on the street which is congested from apartment parking. I purchased 1 bag of 12 donut holes for $2.59, 3 Old Fashion glazed $1.50 each and was over charged for 4, and a half dozen glaze donuts for $8.75 plus $1.14 sales tax and my total price $19.09. Now i'm not a fan of smaller than usual size, cold, and over sugary donuts. The texture is not soft, fluffy, and warm. That buttery melt in your mouth taste just isn't present. They basically over sugar you're taste buds to sell a mediocre donut at best. I miss warm, buttery, and fluffy melt in your mouth donuts from the olden days. All this said enjoy yourself and don't settle for less.

Disappointed with This Location – Needs Better Management I’ve been to this Daylight Donuts in Hobbs five times now, and each time has been a letdown. One morning I arrived at 6 AM and found a handwritten sign on the door saying they were out — and the doors were locked. Even when I come during regular hours between 6–9 AM, I’ve never actually been able to get the donuts. There’s very minimal variety, and they can’t get them out to the display quickly enough. With such a small selection, you’d think they’d be ready earlier. Five people walked out in front of me, clearly frustrated and tired of waiting. One person even drove out of the parking lot aggressively when I was walking into the establishment. The drive-thru line blocks the only entrance, making it hard to even pull in and park.

Just stopped by Daylight Donuts and wow, I'm impressed! From the moment I drove up, I was greeted with a smile. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making my morning a little brighter. And let's talk about the donuts – fresh, delicious, and a great variety to choose from. It's funny, the smell of the place instantly brought back childhood memories of Saturday mornings with my mom. I was in and out in no time, which is perfect when you're on the go. Definitely my new go-to AGAIN 😂 …opens at 4:30am

☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars) I was so excited when I saw that Daylight Donuts had reopened because the old shop was amazing. The donuts were fresh, soft, and priced right. Sadly, the new shop is nothing like that. The quality just isn’t there anymore. The donuts taste bland , dense, and cold -not the light, melt-in-your-mouth kind we used to get. On top of that, the prices have gone way up, and it’s hard to justify paying that much for something that’s just mediocre. It’s really disappointing to see such a great spot come back without the charm or care that made it special. I truly hope the new owners take feedback seriously, because right now, it’s a huge downgrade from what Daylight Donuts used to be
