I hate to leave a poor review. I used to love it here- ordered weekly salads for a long time. Things have significantly gone downhill. Significantly. When you order a salad with chicken, the chicken used to be shredded nicely. Now, you get massive chunks. The garlic and honey marinade recipe has changed for the worst. It’s overly sweet, with no garlic taste at all. The worst part is I gave this restaurant a 3rd chance, and the red onions on a cold salad came as strings. Red onions on a salad should be diced. I love D'Avolio, food is amazing. You can create your own pizza's and I love the honey chicken pizza with white sauce, bacon, Asiago cheese and pineapple is the best. In addition, the staff are awesome and great environment. Always have a great time when we visit.

The restaurant's ambiance is beautiful. The pizza was the best I've ever had—the dough and olive oil were excellent. For those who don’t like the strong taste of cheese, it might be a bit overwhelming, but I really enjoyed it. The burger was very tender and delicious, though the fries on the side were just average. The staff's attitude wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming. The photos, the restaurant’s history, and its family-friendly atmosphere were very charming. The restroom could have been cleaner. I will definitely return for that amazing pizza, the fresh vegetables, and the olive oil that transports you straight to Italy—plus, watching Buffalo’s beautiful snowfall through the restaurant’s cozy windows made the experience even more special.

Absolutely incredible experience with Chelsea behind the bar! From the moment I ordered my mimosa, I knew I was in good hands. She crafted the perfect balance of fresh, crisp champagne and just the right touch of orange juice—light, bubbly, and refreshingly smooth. It wasn’t just a drink; it was an experience! Beyond her mixology skills, Chelsea’s energy and warmth made the entire visit unforgettable. She’s engaging, charismatic, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Whether you’re a regular or just stopping by, she makes you feel like a VIP. If you’re looking for an expertly made mimosa (or any cocktail, really) and top-tier service, Chelsea is the bartender to see. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

My daughter and I had a wonderful post Christmas lunch. Our server was very polite and helpful. The food was delicious. Tables are a bit close together and the cold air came in when the door was opened. But otherwise, highly recommended D'Avolio on Main St., Wmsv🙂
