Davis Donut House

Been coming here most of my life, since before the business changed hands years ago. Orange twists still great, if you can get them. But they’ve been closed every time I’ve visited family in Rutherford County for the past couple years. Hours posted online are not remotely accurate. With the slim margins in food service businesses, I just don’t see how these folks survive being open so little.

The donuts were absolutely delicious!! It is drive-thru only, so there isn’t really an “atmosphere” per se. By the time we got there, around 10, and they were out of several donuts. My suggestion is get there as soon as they open for the best selection. The kid running the drive-thru was less than enthusiastic. Next time I’m in Forest City I will give them another try.

These are the most delicious donuts! Love their fluff and orange twist donuts. There is a need for moving the cars through faster, though, whether by displaying a menu so people can see it ahead, having another employee on hand - something. Some cars are at the window for ages, and not everyone has time to sit in line for 30 minutes. If the drive-through process remains this slow, I’m afraid the business will suffer if we ever get a place like Dunkin’ in the area.

Still the B E S T doughnuts in town! Best doughnuts I've ever eaten personally..... This place is definitely worth a stop in or swing in through the drive thru. They are very popular - so get there early to get the best selection & freshness of the day!!!! The staff is always delightful & I have never went in and not received the • B E S T • customer service along with a smile! This is where the "small town friendly" comes in. Davis Doughnuts is definitely one of the local businesses I HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Near or far! 🍩❤🎉💕 Also, My son says " These are ginormous!" Every time he eats one. ❤ Definitely kid approved!!! Side note...... My personal fav... the orange flavored onessss❤❤❤❤🤤🤤🤤 Do yourself a favor & just go on by!
