David Burke's Dixie Lee Bakery

We love visiting places that have been around a while. This bakery dates back!! We were excited to try their goods. Ordered several pastries and cookies, which were okay. We were not impressed until we had the crumb cake with apples! DELICIOUS! Moist and tasty and fresh. Loved it!! (We ate it all before photos could be taken, lol!)

Everything was amazing !! i worked with Grace, the manager on all the details for my daughter in laws bridal shower and she was fantastic and such a pleasure to work with. She even came to my event and helped to set up the beautiful display and made sure everything was perfect. Everything not only looked beautiful, they were delicious!! Definitely looking forward to more treats from Dixie Lee!!!

I am extremely disappointed this year. I have been ordering cupcakes from here for the past 6 years for my daughter’s birthday, and I’ve always trusted the quality. Unfortunately, this year was a huge letdown. The icing was falling off the cupcakes, and they were all smushed together in the box. They looked messy and rushed, nothing like what we’ve received in the past. It was embarrassing to set them out to school. My daughter was so upset she cried, which honestly broke my heart. After being a loyal customer for 6 years, I expected much better care and consistency. This experience really made her birthday disappointing. I hope you take more care in the future, especially for special occasions that mean so much to families.

I can remember when their sugar donuts actually had sugar on them. They were the best! Not anymore, it’s a plain donut and a sprinkle of sugar. Hate it when new owners come and change good things. Won’t be going back anytime soon. The lady at the counter was very pleasant.

Been back 2 weeks in a row. So good best rolls, cookies and croissants around. Great staff
