The food is great!! All of it! I especially love the chicken tenders. I have never had bad service at the Bossier City restaurant on Village Lane and the salad bar is always stocked with crisp fresh vegetables. It is a great place to eat your fill of yummy fried catfish too.

The food was the worst I’ve had from a restaurant in many years. The establishment needs a deep cleaning. You can see sticky stuff on the walls. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was like the microwave rice with very salty shrimp that has something crunchy when I chew it. It came with a cup of beans and toast, and I did get the baked potato, which was the only thing edible from my plate that I was able to eat.

I recently ordered the 16oz fried catfish, and it did not disappoint. The fish was freshly fried, seasoned well, and absolutely delicious. I did add the make it Cajun option, which adds more seasoning. You can tell the difference between the regular and the Cajun option. It was worth it, in my opinion. The drive thru cashier was very nice, and my fish was ready quickly. I Highly recommend!

Ordered the lunch catfish and was disappointed in how SMALL the 3 pieces were. The food was hot but just okay. Also the interior of the dining room was filthy especially the windows down the center. I think they were going for a distressed look but all it looked like was filthy dirty. Restrooms not up to par either. I am surprised the Health Board hasn't shut them down.

Service was very friendly!! Onion rings A+ The ranch dressing was extra thick! Ordered the Seafood Platter. It was enjoyable. Food gets 4 ⭐️’s because the cocktail sauce. It tasted like just ketchup and vinegar. Coming from south Louisiana I’m used to the cocktail sauce having horseradish, lemon juice and hot sauce in it also. Service 5 ⭐️’s. Waitress was a lovely lady who was friendly and outgoing. Atmosphere also gets 4 ⭐️’s. The restaurant was quaint and felt like a time capsule from 1972. Over all it seems like a restaurant that’s been a staple in the community for decades. If I do get a chance to visit again I will ask about the local favorite dishes.
