Dave's New York Deli

Unfortunately had a horrible experience here. I placed an order for online pickup, the online ordering service provided an exact pickup time of 5:24 PM. I picked up the order precisely at that pickup time. I decided to eat the sandwich in the car as I was driving home and was utterly disappointed. The sandwich was soggy and cold, even though I ordered a “hot” sandwich. In fact, the wet quality of the sandwich resulted in a completely soaked through wrapping. I decided to call when I got home to respectfully ask for a refund. I was told by the pleasant cashier that he would ask his boss about this. However, when I received a call back later in the evening, a refund was refused. I was offered a remake of the sandwich, but to be honest to waste another 30 minutes of my time driving to and fro

Cute little deli tucked in the Town shopping center. At very friendly staff a larger menu than expected with breakfast lunch and dinner items sandwiches wraps Pizza dessert chips specifically went for the New York Reuben and I was not disappointed.

Absolutely the best New York sandwiches you can get outside of New York. I got the hot pastrami sandwich and my lady got the roast beef sandwich(cold). Both were outstanding! If you're in the Gainesville, FL area and that's what you're looking for, I highly recommend Dave's. 👍

First time ever in this deli, just moved into flats. Superb customer service ! Kudos to Shawn so welcoming and generous. Thank you again you are a great person!!! Food and ice cream delicious.

I am a door dash driver and have picked up food here a few times. Being a New Yorker I wanted to try it out. I picked a breakfast order up and decided to get a breakfast sandwich for myself. Boy was I dissapointed. For $8 I got a fast food sandwich. I did not expect a precooked egg that was microwaved instead of cooked on a grill like real New York breakfast sandwiches. Look how pathetic and small it is. I know food costs are high but this is outrageous for a pecooked fast food sandwich. I'll go back but only to pick up food for others.
