Dave's Hot Chicken

Ill start off by saying the staff was nice but they didnt explain anything and the food was really good. The bad was its way to expensive! We had 2 "combos" and I use the quotations because they aren't real combos because combos are a side and drink, we had to by drinks separately.

First time eating here. The atmosphere was bright and colorful. Lots to look at while you are eating or waiting on your order. Outdoor sitting is available and television to watch your favorite teams. I personally thought the sandwiches were really good, fries were crisp and hot. I tried the mild today, may step it up to medium heat next time.

This was our first time at this location. We ordered take out. We got a two tender combo, and then a one slider with mac and cheese. We also got a chocolate shake and loaded fries. The two tender combo was great. We also ordered extra Dave sauce, honey and ranch. This is the first location that I’ve seen with ranch. The one slider was good, but it was a cauliflower slider, not a chicken, so I was really surprised. I didn’t know Dave’s had vegetarian options. The loaded fries were good but soggy by the time we got home. The chocolate milkshake was good.

The fun decor, straightforward menu and yummy food makes this joint a top choice when compared to the various and multiple options of chicken places out there these days. I like that you can choose how hot you want the chicken to be. I chose ‘medium’ and found it to be accurate. I’ll try ‘hot’ next time because I like just a little more kick. The double slider with fries was too much food for me, but I was pleasantly surprised that my leftovers warmed up nicely in my air fryer the next day and had the same crispness and flavor as they did when fresh. The only complaint to be had was my son didn’t care for how runny his milkshake was and wished for it to be thicker. Don’t skimp on the ice cream! 😀

Good atmosphere, interesting flavors, we recomened the sandwich.
