Dave's Hot Chicken

First timer. They welcome you. Your order is correct. The food is fresh, hot and cooked with love. The team was friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. The atmosphere music was my liking. The m&m shake was over the moon. Beautiful art work celebrating our Buccaneers and Tampa home. Was given a container and bag to go because my belly was satisfied. Had the number #4 for $9.99 and medium m&m shake $4.99. Huge meaty chicken sandwich. They thank you visiting as you leave several times. I'm going back again next week after enjoying the Florida State Fair. Definitely felt appreciated and cared for during my visit. First impression was amazing.

Upon arrival, there was ample parking and the restaurant was easy to find. Once inside, I noticed plenty of seating and a good crowd without being overly packed. The aroma of fried chicken was instantly appealing. Staff members were friendly, and the ordering process was quick—about 3–5 minutes to place an order and roughly 10 minutes for the food to arrive. Everything came out fresh. The fries were hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. I ordered a Reaper tender (which required signing a waiver) and a Hot slider sandwich. The pickles were cold and crisp, and the Dave’s sauce was chilled and served generously—plenty to go around. They offer Coke products for drinks. NOTE: The seasoning is applied as a dry powder, I believe the Reaper tender is coated in their standard spice and then dusted with

Great chicken sandwich. Had the spice level between no spice and mild and it had a small amount of heat, so I cannot imagine the higher spice levels. Fries were good too. Cool artwork on the walls in a somewhat spartan seating/dining area. Staff was very helpful about the menu and friendly. Drive-thru was full the entire time we were there during the lunch hour. Will definitely go back.

I will put it to you simply… if there is a Dave’s Hot Chicken close by I’m going. Period. So glad we stopped here and tried this location. I got the Dave’s bites which are my favorite in hot of course. Everything was great! Heat was on point. Flavor was incredible! Price is way in line too which is awesome! I’m on a mission to eat at them all and this location is another reason why I love DHC so much! Keep it up and don’t stop!

I personally make the best hot chicken in existence but Daves is a close second. I go there for my lunch break at work all the time and it's consistently awesome. Get the slider hot with everything on it, and some daves sauce to dip the fries in. The people at this location are also super friendly. I've dined in and taken out, I'd highly recommend either.
