Dave's Hot Chicken

We had an awesome visit at Dave’s Hot Chicken, and everything from the atmosphere to the service was on point. The moment you walk in, the place grabs your attention. The bold graffiti-style murals, vibrant colors, and neon signs give the restaurant such a cool, energetic vibe. The space was clean, well-organized, and spacious, with plenty of seating that made it comfortable to sit back and enjoy the experience. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the customer service. Max V., the cashier, was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming, making sure we felt taken care of from the start. This is my third time visiting Dave’s Hot Chicken in Kennesaw, and they’ve been consistent every time. The customer service is great, and the place is always clean and well-kept. If you like Nashville-style hot chicken, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ve only tried the regular hot so far, but it’s been more than hot enough and full of flavor. Sorry I forgot to take a picture before digging in — the only good pic I have has a couple bite marks already 😅 Solid food, friendly staff, and a good overall experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Heard some good stuff about this location so I decided to stop by. I ordered a #13 (Slider, chicken strip, & fries) in the flavor “medium”. Personally, the medium was not that spicy. It was at the same heat level as mild wings. The #13 is ALOT of food so you get your bang for your buck ($14.00). My BF ordered the same thing but at the spice level “hot”. He enjoys spicy food but this was wayyyy too spicy for him. If you’re a first time customer I recommend starting off with a mild and working your way up! P.S. we only waited about 7 mins for our food which is nice!

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Dave’s in general, but as far as this location goes, the chicken is amazingly juicy and delicious every time, and I can’t stop going here. By far the best Nashville hot in this area, though not the best seasoning blend out there in the world. It’s a chain, so that isn’t going to change, but it is solid. I might just be spice-blind, but I can’t tell much difference between medium, hot, extra hot. For someone who loves spice, the medium might be a little better because the flavors are more balanced with a bit more sweetness coming through, which is nice. They need to kick up the sugar when they kick up the heat to maintain the same balance. Love Dave’s Hot Chicken. So much better than Chick Filet and Cane’s. One slider meal medium fills me up. The kids love the sliders and tenders. Even the fries are top notch. Welcome to Kennasaw!!
