Das Hagedorn Haus B & B

The Trasks made us feel like family during our 3 generational visit to Petersburg. They are quite literally the best in town, wonderful hosts, and great human beings! The accommodations feel like you are in your own home, and you are a short walk down the hill from everything in town. 10/10 recommend for all, especially families.

Friendly and informative hosts. Very comfortable and has everything you need. Stayed for HS sports. Steps away from high school/middle school and two small blocks from downtown.

Long time residents, Lila & Grant Trask were our hosts for our return to trip to Petersburg. They are down home folks with a knack for great service with a smile! Breakfast was certainly a delight, with a variety of specialties from shirred eggs with salmon and shrimp layered in, to Swedish blueberry pancakes. Homemade muffins with fresh picked raspberries hit the spot, too. Breakfast at the kitchen bar area every morning was a trip highlight! We did only minor cooking in the apartment kitchen and hit the downtown area for dinner most nights. We felt well taken care of and totally at ease during our stay. In fact, we agreed that we hadn't slept so well in years! We hope to be back.

Lila and Grant have been absolutly amazing hosts. The breakfasts and conversations have been both excellent and entertaining. We are a group of 5 and felt right at home. Their home is a cozy little corner tucked right up in the heart of Petersburg where you have easy access down to the main street and the docks. Grant gave great advice to our teenage boys and they will always remember that advice. Lila's breakfast options were not only really tasty but diverse and fun. ||

Grant and Lila were the most amazing and gracious hosts - from educating us about their years of fishing to learning about their amazing boat to a guided tour of their garden to a super delicious Norwegian breakfast - they were engaging and entertaining and made us feel right at home. The downstairs suite is super complete with a full kitchen and Grant and Lila welcomed us to use their washer and dryer (quite a relief after a week on a cruise and having done only carry on luggage - so we were short on clean or dry clothes for sure!). They educated us to what to do and see about town and Grant even took us to pick up some smoked salmon at a coveted spot before taking us to the airport. They are the most delightful couple and we had an amazing time!
