Darren's Pizza Shack

Love eating local and supporting smaller restaurants. Heard about Darren’s Pizza Shack so we stopped after a WVU basketball game. We were greeted when we entered and sat down. Nice little place with a very good menu. We ordered a large Carnivore pizza and three drinks. The pizza was very good and well priced. This place is a hidden gem in Morgantown. If you’re in the area, stopped by and give them a chance.

Always nice to have a new place in town. They have a lot of potential but some things still need worked out. The pizza itself was phenomenal, so that definitely doesn't need any changing. I like that they have a bunch of unique combinations and a 7-inch personal pizza so you can try a bunch at once. I was expecting the BBQ wings to be sauced, not a dry rub, so that was a bit disappointing. However, they weren't bad. The breading on the jalapeño poppers was kinda stale too. I understand this location is brand new so they probably still have some kinks to work out and I would be more than willing to order from here again.

I like Darren’s Pizza Shack better than Al’s!! First off they offer chicken wings! They’re good but they’re tiny. When I got my food home, it was still hot. The crust on the pizza isn’t super hard and had good flavor. People are friendly. Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

Really great food and pizza! Loved it. The pizza is exactly what you want- perfectly gooey goodness. Will be our new spot! Must try! The wings were great too!

Gabe and Jacob have phenomenal customer service skills. Traveling through the area to visit a buddy, I was not disappointed with the pizza here. The carnivore pizza was excellent. Anybody in the Morgantown area, you need to get yourselves to this pizza joint. 10/10 would recommend.
