Great atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Have QR code menu you can scan then place your order at the bar. Great selection of beers on tap. Food was great, recommend the Mac & Cheese bites. Will definitely be going back!

We drive to Iowa several times a year to visit our son and pass Darkbird. We have been meaning to stop in but it was either too early or late. Well we stopped on the prefect day. Thursday they were having a Halloween Pawty. There were a bunch of dogs there dressed up in costumes, hence the "Pawty". We had time to order and eat a delicious dinner. We shared nachos with brisket, it was very good. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the house cheese burger. We tasted each other's dinner and we both thought they were both great. The chicken was so moist and tender and the burger was juicy and very flavorful. We are definitely stopping in again on our trips to Iowa. ALL the staff was so nice, pleasant and extremely helpfully. We were passing by at lunch time and decided to stop in. We had a couple of great burgers and beers on tap! If we are in the area again we would definitely eat here again.

We recently rented the igloo for an adult birthday celebration and had an awesome experience. Brianna was our server and wowed us with her top notch smile and service. She made our evening so much fun and I can’t say enough about how pleased we were. Drinks were amazing too!( thank you Brian!). Kudos to the kitchen staff who cooked up some delicious food to top it all off. I highly recommend Darkbird for a fun gathering!

The restaurant/bar is beautiful, I love the indoor/outdoor seating options! Lots of drink choices! The food was excellent, truly enjoyed that! The service was a bit slow tonight, we ended up eating after our two other friends we were with, but it worked out fine in the end. The fried pickles we ordered for an appetizer were excellent and my husband really enjoyed the tap beer he ordered. Definitely recommend giving DarkBird a go if you’re in the area!
