Dari Gem

Since I moved to Tennessee from Texas one of the things I have missed most is getting traditional Mexican street food. Dari gem has the American classics as well as amazing Mexican street food. I used to get the elote for myself and now I have to get the large because my kids steal it. The staff is amazing and always friendly, the dining area is clean, and as a single parent I am able to really get the most for my money. I cannot say enough kind things about them. Happy anniversary, and I look forward to supporting for years to come!

Started off with my husband picking up my to go order I place via phone call, he was getting ready to pull out the parking lot and called me because order seems small. We had paid for and got somebody else’s order. We had family in from out of town and we had gotten chicken from there a year ago and it was wonderful, however we received the wrong order. He pulled back around to get our order they then took the food back, which is kind of gross because someone got an order that they don’t know what has happened to it then we got our order. When he got home we opened the bag to extremely over cooked chicken, probably old not really any meat in the chicken because it was probably re-cooked and just burnt to a crisp. The bread was stale. Spent $32 for a Sunday special with cheese sticks instead of coleslaw. I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember, but here within this past year or so..the food taste different. It doesn’t have much flavor. The chicken was dry and really gross looking. I really don’t know what’s going on, but they aren’t as good as they used to be..especially for the prices they are charging now. The best thing they have out now are their milk shakes and homemade popsicles, which are absolutely amazing! They definitely need to fix the online menu to their actual prices for future customers too. I just can’t see spending that much money for not so great food. If they go back to the way the used to make things, I’d definitely go back! It would be worth it for the prices then.

The most amazing chicken nachos I've ever had everything down to thr tortilla chips were fresh.

Great place to eat the food is always very delicious, and the employees are always very polite and helpful.
