After a long weekday at work, I needed a reminder that life is still moving and there are moments worth enjoying. So we decided to head downtown, and our night ended at Darband Restaurant. It was pretty late and the place was very quiet. At first, I was a little worried when we walked in, but that feeling quickly disappeared. The server welcomed us warmly, the soft music created a relaxing atmosphere, and most importantly, the food completely turned the night around. The Chenjeh kebab was excellent and honestly the highlight of the meal—I highly recommend it. My mom ordered the boneless chicken kebab and she was very happy with it. My husband chose the Soltani kebab and he loved it as well. By the end of the meal, all the fatigue from the day was gone. It turned out to be exactly the ki

We had an amazing experience here over the summer ('25), still thinking about it six months or so later. The kebabs, the tomatoes, the rice... And very friendly staff as well as a relaxing, sophisticated but comfortable atmosphere. A highlight of our visit to SD.

The market section of the restaurant also has a fun mix of imported items and snacks — everything from dried mulberries and raisins to lavash bread, fresh juices, and soda options. A great touch if you want to bring a little taste of the cuisine home with you. Atmosphere is clean, casual, an

Very nice restaurant that appears to be under the radar. My wife, daughter, and me visited Darband on a Sunday afternoon. Not many people at this time. It was nice and quiet with some background music. The food was very good and the portions were good for the price. The flavors are quite good, with plenty of options for those that are vegan.

I saw many one-star reviews and thought I should try this place myself and share my own experience. It’s clean, plays Persian music, and definitely offers an authentic Darband-style food experience. I hope people can be kinder to small businesses like this.
