Dara's Mediterranean

New favorite take-out spot!!! Dara’s is such a great addition to the Manayunk/Rox food scene. We ordered the Lamb Pita and Sun-choke Pita, and were blown away by the well-balanced flavors and how fresh everything tasted. You can really tell care is put into every ingredient. The staff also went above and beyond is preparing our meal, and we’re incredibly friendly upon pick up. As a vegetarian, I am so happy to have found a spot that offers delicious food for both myself and my carnivore fiancée. We will definitely be retuning!!

Absolutely delicious chicken shnitzel wrap! The ingredients were fresh and plentiful and left me completely satisfied. I'm glad there is really great Mediterranean food so close to home & I know I will definitely be ordering again soon!

I ordered delivery from Dara and here’s my honest take: I tried the chicken schnitzel wrap — it was just okay. The bread wasn’t fresh and fell apart easily, though the chicken and salad inside were decent. I also got the “famous” fries, but they were a bit too greasy for my taste. That said, I’ve heard great things about the dine-in experience, so I’m planning to visit in person and update my review. For now, I’d generously give it a 4 out of 5.

One word - CATERING! Dara's provided catered food for our 10 person mini-wedding reception back in August and it was phenomenal. Mark and Beth were an absolute pleasure to work with. They crafted a menu that worked with our budget and familial dietary restrictions. I was blown away with the quality of the food and presentation - dips were served in cabbage leaves, so cute! If you need food catered for an event, definitely go to Dara's!

I was searching for some good vegan after work and Dara’s dye not disappoint! I order the Vegan falafel wrap, and I must say this was the best falafel wrap that I’ve ever had. All of the ingredients were super fresh. It was a true delight! I will most certainly be back!
