This is an excellent Deli with great food and a nice staff. One of my favorites in Hartsdale. Word of advice to the owners, as an owner of multiple mid sized businesses. Dante’s will be able to do more volume, higher sales and more profitability if staffing on site is optimized better for peak times. There is typically not enough staff on site when I visit (and I’m a regular) and the fact that online orders are shut off indicates that the volume and demand (people love this place) is there but the staffing is not aligned properly. By staffing heavier (particularly at busier times of day), it will reduce wait times, increase the odds that more visitors will come (customers hesitate to come in when they expect a wait) and it will help increase revenue and offset fixed costs. Fantastic Italian speciality store and deli. Excellent cheese and meat variety, plus jarred peppers, olives and Nutella treats. Perfect stop if you’re hosting or attending a party to pick up a gift. We absolutely loved their fresh ravioli, and will be back to try their made to order sandwiches!
