Dan's Clam Stand

3/26 - DON'T drive past this place, it was wonderful. Here for lunch so wasn't too crowded and got to sit outside. Ordered a 4x sampler as we like to taste what we can. Fried scallops, grilled shrimp, coconut shrimp, clam strips; can't tell you one was a favorite over the other. Pair odrinks to make it better. Service was great, weather was perfect, couldn't be happier.

Hub and I wanted Seafood for dinner and revisited Dan’s. This place is so quaint and an old school style Florida dive. It is a gem of a place, so cool to see the Tiki Hut gazebo when you want to eat outside, it’s all lit up at night. Inside has that Florida decor all over the place and a nice fish tank. Wooden booths and a small bar with high top chairs for your consideration. Wooden tables and more booths farther in the back of the restaurant. Our waitress was so nice and attentive to us. We ordered our food and it came in a timely fashion, nice and hot!! I ordered the Colossal fried shrimp, love the red shrimp,they in my opinion are sweeter. I also ordered a dinner portion of onion rings. The shrimp were just outstanding and the batter was delicious and Dan’s has the best onion rings bar

Our first ever experience at Dan’s - Valentine’s Day - We arrived about 1:30 in the afternoon & it was already slammed. We were a party of 2 and were able to sit quickly, as we chose the bar. Servers never stopped moving, we saw smiles on their faces the whole time, even through the madness. We order crab bites for apps, the portion was big & they were good. My husband ordered the 1 lb lobster with green beans, and I ordered the 1 lb lobsters roll (hot) with fries. They both were amazing! One of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had. We both left full and happy.

1st time here and both of us were excited. Stared with a dozen raw oysters. They were shucked perfectly and they were fresh. We then got a bowl of new england clam chowder and it was smooth, creamy and absolutely Devine. Next up was the fried clam strips which were golden brown and delicious. And for our entre, we ordered the 1 lb lobster roll sandwich. It was visually and tastefully delicious. All served by some of the best servers in the business. Back of the house folks got it down! Absolutely looking forward to coming back again.

EAT HERE ! 😋😋lobster, shrimp and clams OH MY ! We met Dan on this trip and the CHEF John. The onion rings and special sauce are to die for !!! Clam Chowder yummy ! Clam bellies & strips & cheese curds is what we had today. Tonight we are going back for the Cioppino. Our waitress Susan was amazing ! Dan retired and sold the place but nothing has changed but a few nice upgrades. The new owner and his family have an amazing story. They kept all their old employees and didn’t change anything except to enhance the employees job atmosphere. In a world where it seems like no one cares about their job anymore or attention to details everyone at Dan’s clam shack acts like they really love their job and care about giving you the best meal possible. 😊😊😊😊 5 stars all the way.
