Solid almost-dive bar tucked in amongst the shops and restaurants on Coronado! Can definitely tell it's a Navy haunt from the decor and vibes. Not cheap, but cheaper than most other places around the island. Menu is fairly limited; if you're not in the mood for burgers, a single chicken sandwich, or fries/onion rings, don't come here for food. Came for lunch on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. Service was fast, and staff was very friendly and helpful! Ordered an Original Slamburger, a Yankin & Bankin burger, and a half basket of frings (mixed fries and onion rings). This place is a sleeper. The burgers are awesome. Simple and delicious. The bar is great as well. Veteran friendly is an understatement. Tributes to the service members who gave all are everywhere. 🙏🏾
This is a hole in the wall on Orange Street in downtown Coronado, but worth the visit. The menu is super simple and straightforward, which is perfect if all you're looking for is a good burger or sandwich. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made our visit very enjoyable. The frogman burger was really good and I would definitely go back to try another one of their variations.
Fun and attentive service, chill divey vibes, and delicious food. A biiittt pricey for what you’re getting in terms of food, but considering the area it’s in I’ll give them a break on that.

My visit here provided unique insights into the heart of the community. It's true, this spot isn't particularly tourist-centric, but that's precisely what gives it its charm. Patriotic Support: One thing that's immediately evident is the unwavering support for our troops. The atmosphere here exudes a deep appreciation for the military, and it's heartening to see such a display of patriotism.
