Dandy Sandos

Dandy Sandos is always a great place to grab lunch, and today was no exception. I was on my way out to Bodega Bay to see old man Gloobinstein about some Hipster Dufus types that have been terrorizing his neighborhood, and drop off a makeshift Walderwheeler that Platypus Pete fabricated outa Reindeer antlers...And Platypus pretty much guarantees the damn thing will work, and more than likely send those Hipster Dufuses to another neighborhood. I got my usual fare from Dandy Sandos...A fat ham sandwich on sliced sourdough with chips and a pickle, and it was deliciously amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

We recently had party trays delivered to our house for a birthday party. We had 2 large trays and 1 small tray (assorted sandwiches). The service was fantastic! The ordering process was smooth and efficient and everyone I talked to was very friendly. The day of the party they were on time, the sandwiches and condiments were fresh and beautifully displayed. All of our guests (and us!) enjoyed the sandwich platters so much. I would definitely recommend them for an event or gathering. They were reliable and had good quality food!

I stopped by this sandwich shop in Petaluma expecting an ordinary lunch and left wondering why sandwiches everywhere can’t taste like this. The bread was so fresh it practically introduced itself, and the pastrami had more personality than some people I know. Friendly staff and quick service made the whole visit unexpectedly entertaining.

Excellent service - fast efficient and friendly service during lunch hour rush on Friday, Halloween, 2025. Staff were dressed as cute cats and the cashier was Stitch. I love Italian sandwiches and was glad to see the #3 included mortadella and the usual salami, ham, provolone and toppings. Fresh bread and toppings, quality meat and cheese. Nathan made my sandwich to go and was so thoughtful and kind, offering to wrap my sandwich halves separately in plastic since they were going in an ice chest. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Next time I'm visiting Petaluma, I'll be back for the exceptional service and fat, yummy sandos!

We picked up sandwhiches on our way out to do some hiking in Point Reyes National Seashore. The sandwhiches held up well to the 50 minute drive, no soggy bottoms to the Dutch Crunch bread! The staff was super pleasant, and patient, with the crowd of high schoolers in front of us. Portion size was appropriate for the sandwhich price ($12-14 ea). Would make a stop here again the next time we come through Petaluma!
