Absolutely 10/10 experience I wish I could leave six stars, all the staff was extremely attentive and super personable and sweet. Not once did we run low on drink or any other items / condiments. The food was amazing I got the popcorn shrimp, coleslaw, and a hush puppy. The hush puppies are HUGE & do not let the size deceive you they are delicious I was really impressed. Everything else was fresh and delicious as well, loved the atmosphere and I surprisingly ended up having room for dessert which was some sort of chocolate chip pie of sorts. Really glad I ended up stopping in while I was coming through and definitely see myself coming back in the near future!

Small town place. Owner is very nice. Food is pretty average. Had a chicken philly and chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Chips were a bit floppy. I should have asked for them to be crispy. My husband’s tater tots were very crispy.

This ain't a fancy-pants dinner, but a hidden gem for delicious, down-home cooking! A real mom and pop hole in the wall. Definitely off the beaten path but if you're ever in the area, passing through or out hiking (hanging rock area) stop by for a meal. Place looked closed when we first pulled up it was just the tinted windows. Super nice lady helped us out. GET THE FLOUNDER! It was amazing!!!! So moist tender and flaky great flavor perfect balance of fish to breading. The portions were huge! We got a basket of fried pickles and couldn't finish them. We were really hoping we could get a basket of hush puppies but the other table had ordered the last 3 baskets. Each basket could've fed a whole family and they said they were really good. Really good service! Good local food, with a down home feel. Love to get breakfast on the weekends here. A must try when in Danbury, N.C.

Man, I tell you what. I love trying local spots, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The tea was perfectly sweet, their service was fast and welcoming. We tried the chicken Phillies. Delicious and more than plenty to fill you up. The fries were great. Don't get me started on these cookies too. These things are giant and a steal for the price. (Less than 2$) and they taste just like grandma made them. Sooooo if you're hiking Hanging rock and looking for a great bite to eat with a welcoming atmosphere for the family it's just a few miles up the road. Go show them some love ❤️
