Damsite Watering Hole

Stopped in for early dinner. Sat in the dining area.Never been in before. Greeted right away. We ordered chicken basket/ fries/ slaw. 4 large pieces. It was very good and hot! Also, the shrimp basket, fries/slaw. Large breaded prawns cooked perfectly. Our server was very professional, kind and took care of us well. The food came out in a timely manor. Hope to come back to hear some music. Very clean restrooms and nice view of the river. Karaoke on Thursdays! Daily specials!

First time here. We were here at 5pm (not busy) hoping for tye $6 Smash Birger special bit they ran out during lunch. We were told they're thawing another batch that would be available withijg the next hour. So my husband and dad ordered the Mushroom Swiss, I ordered the Nashville Chicken Wrap, and our friends ordered a bowl of chili and a boiled Walleye dinner. Waiter I understand we all have pur off days but the waiter only gets 3 stars because [1] my wrap coke with Ranch or Blue Cheese, he never offered it (which I forgot all together when ordering). [2] he kept forgetting to give any of us any napkins. So I went to the bar area, where there was a plethora of paper towel rolls on every table and I grabbed for everyone at my table. First & foremost, we LOVE Damsite. Stopping here for convenience the first time when I had a phone call to make on our drive up to our lake home in Walker, we loved the atmosphere, wonderful employees (shout out to Ellie & Aylah), exceptional service and great food so much, we have become regulars at Damsite since our first time stopping. The last time we were there was was on January 17th, and the menu had changed. Although interesting, many of our favorites (they see me and always knew I would order the steak alfredo) and my husband Dave loved the ribs, smashburger, and French dip. The menu now has limited options, so that was a disappointment, but at least we got to hug both Ellie & Aylah ❤️ Maybe add some steak options to the menu again? After trying quite a few different things off the menu, I can say the food here is pretty darn good. (The pork belly tacos are a fave of mine). The service here is even better than the food. Aylah and Shurey are great bartenders, and do a great job at taking care of their customers even when they're busy. Highly recommend. 🤓

Thursday night karaoke with Boss Dj is a blast we had so much fun!!! The servers especially Ayla are the best and take good care of their customers!!! If you haven’t been I highly recommend you go it’s an absolute blast!
